Description
Automatic CIP Cleaning for Brewing Tanks and Process Lines
We build automatic clean-in-place systems around the real cleaning job: tank interiors, transfer lines, valves, pumps, fillers, and heat exchangers. A brewery may run caustic, acid, and hot-water cycles on different schedules. A dairy or sauce plant may need heavier soil removal and longer rinse steps. The skid is not a catalog item dropped into a plant. Tank count, circuit length, soil type, water quality, and available steam or power set the layout.
Possible configurations include single-, double-, triple-, or multi-tank units; separate caustic and acid tanks; hot-water tanks; electric or steam heating; supply and return pumps; stainless piping, valves, and fittings; temperature, flow, pressure, and level monitoring; and manual, semi-automatic, or PLC control. These are options, not standard features. We confirm each function for the model and project.
Technical Specifications
| Cleaning tank capacity | Project-specific; sized by circuit volume and rinse demand |
|---|---|
| Number of tanks | Single, double, triple, or multi-tank; caustic, acid, hot water, rinse |
| Stainless grade | 304 or 316L, selected for detergent and product contact requirements |
| Heating method | Electric immersion or steam heat exchanger; confirmed by utility availability |
| Pump flow and pressure | Selected around spray device flow, line pressure drop, and return balance |
| Operating temperature | Set by detergent and substrate; hot-water and caustic steps confirmed per project |
| Control system | Manual, semi-automatic, or PLC/HMI with recipe and alarm functions |
| Cleaning circuits | Single or multiple supply/return loops with air blow and drain options |
| Power | Customer utility voltage and frequency; control and heater loads defined at order |

| Custom options | Tank volume, circuit count, automation, instrumentation, and material finish |
Where These Systems Fit
Dairy processing, beverage production, breweries, distilleries, sauce manufacturing, liquid food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical production all use CIP to repeat cleaning without opening equipment. Cleaning requirements differ by soil, surface finish, and rinse water. We size circuits and cycles around those inputs rather than a generic recipe.
Selection Details That Matter
Start with tank volumes, pipe diameters and run lengths, number of cleaning circuits, soil type, target cycle time, heat source, drain routing, and automation level. Undersized return pumps and ignored water hardness cause recurring problems. So does a layout that leaves low spots in drain lines.
FAQ
Can one CIP unit serve multiple tanks? Yes, with valves and a defined circuit schedule. We confirm simultaneous or sequential cleaning needs first.
Do you provide custom tank sizes and circuits? Yes. Tank volume, pump duty, instrumentation, and control sequence are matched to the plant.
What do you need for a quote? Send industry and product, tank and piping details, required cleaning capacity, heat source, automation level, stainless grade, and installation location.
Contact our engineering team for equipment recommendations, technical review, and a custom quotation. Factory-direct stainless fabrication and project-specific documentation are available.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
