Description
A CIP Skid Built Around Your Circuits, Not a Catalog
Caustic at 170°F through a 25-foot header, a 15-minute intermediate rinse, acid returned to the sump — the sequence is easy to write on paper. Holding it repeatable shift after shift without pulling apart a filler is where the design work actually sits. Our clean-in-place systems ship as piped and wired skids: tanks, pumps, heat exchanger, valves, and instrumentation assembled and pressure-tested before they leave the floor, then tied into your circuits on site.
How the cleaning cycle runs
Pre-rinse pushes product residue to drain. Caustic circulates at the set temperature and flow rate for the contact time you specify. An intermediate rinse follows, then acid where scale control is required, a final rinse, and a sanitizing step if your process calls for one. Conductivity sensors track the interface between solutions so you are not dumping chemistry to drain every cycle.
Tank count and capacity
One tank covers a single chemistry on a single line. Two tanks handle caustic and acid plus rinse. Three or four let you hold hot water and recovered rinse water separately — usually worth the footprint once you run several circuits a day. Size the sump on your largest circuit volume plus line losses. Undersized sumps are the most common correction we make on retrofit jobs.
Heating, pumping, and controls
Electric immersion or steam injection heating, chosen by what your utility room can support and how fast you need turn-up. Supply and return pumps sized for turbulent flow through the longest line, typically 5–7 ft/s. Controls run from manual valves through semi-automatic to full PLC with recipe storage, temperature, flow, pressure, and level trending, and wash reports for your QA file.

Where these systems go
Dairy receiving lines and pasteurizers, beverage and brewery fermenters, sauce kettles, liquid food processing, cosmetic batching, and pharmaceutical vessels. Each has its own soil load and chemistry limits, so the recipe set matters as much as the hardware.
Questions buyers ask us
Can one skid serve several lines? Yes, with a valved circuit manifold and a return pump sized for the worst case. How much water per cycle? Depends on circuit volume; recovery tanks cut it substantially. Do you support installation abroad? We supply drawings, valve schedules, and remote commissioning support.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
