1400L TP2 Red Copper Whiskey Distiller
We build the 1400L TP2 for distilleries that have outgrown a 500L or 1000L still but aren\’t ready to run two batches a day. Pot, swan neck, and condenser head are red copper. Shell and steam jacket are 304 stainless. Copper only where vapor and reflux actually touch it — deliberate, and cheaper to maintain than an all-copper body.

Above 1000L, steam usually wins. Direct electric elements at 1400L work, but you\’re pulling serious amperage and element swaps get old fast. The explosion-proof motor control center ships wired to your voltage and area classification — tell us the classification before we quote, not after.
Options we actually install
Gin basket, agitator, shell-and-tube versus coil condenser. A gin basket on a 1400L still is a real production tool; on a 200L it\’s mostly marketing. Agitators matter for grain-in washes. Condenser choice follows your cooling water — if your water runs warm in summer, take the larger surface area.
Footprint is roughly 2.6 m x 1.6 m plus condenser clearance, and you\’ll want a meter of working space at the manway for CIP. Ships on a flat rack; the column comes off.

- Target batch volume in liters and runs per week
- Steam boiler capacity and pressure, or available electrical service
- Area classification and local code requirements
- Product type — whiskey, rum, gin, or contract work
- Ceiling height at the install location
