What We Build in a 200L Copper Pot Still
We build this 200L red copper pot still for distilleries running gin, whisky, rum, and brandy on the same floor. The copper contact is in the pot, swan neck, and condenser path. Stainless steel works for the shell and support frame. That keeps cost sensible and puts copper where it changes the spirit.
Most clients pick 200L for a craft distillery doing small weekly runs before moving to 500L or 1000L. A 300L unit suits a small taproom with regular weekend runs. 500L fits a regional distillery with wholesale accounts. 1000L is for continuous production and larger fermentation tanks.

Electric heating is simpler to install. Steam gives faster heat-up and steadier control when you already have a boiler. For gin, we often add a gin basket in the vapor path. An agitator helps with grain-in or fruit mash. Condenser choice follows your cooling water and desired proof.
Before we quote, send your spirit type, batch size, heating preference, voltage or steam pressure, available floor space, and door dimensions. That tells us whether a 200L still is right or if a 300L/500L frame makes more sense. We also check shipping clearance and maintenance access early, because a still that fits the budget but not the building is no help.
