Copper Stills We Build for Whiskey and Rum Producers
We build 200L and 300L copper pot stills with column options for distilleries that want flexibility without a second mortgage. Most of our customers are small-batch whiskey and rum makers stepping up from a 50L pilot still, or a contract distiller adding a second run.

Capacity usually comes down to two numbers: how many barrels you want to fill per week, and how much floor space you actually have. A 200L still running an 8% ABV wash gives you roughly 15–18L of barrel-strength spirit per run. Fine for a tasting room. A 300L unit fills a 30-gallon barrel in about two runs, which is where most small whiskey operations land.
Steam versus electric: if you plan to scale past 500L, go steam. We have watched customers buy electric 300L units and then rebuild the whole utility setup two years later. Electric is simpler to install and cheaper up front — that is the honest tradeoff.
Copper contact matters in the vapor path. Our column, lyne arm, and condenser are copper; the boiler can be stainless to save cost, but vapor has to touch copper to strip sulfides. Gin basket, agitator, and CIP spray ball are options we quote together with the still.
Before we quote, send your wash ABV, target proof, heating source, ceiling height, and barrel plan. A few photos of the room help more than a spec sheet. A 300L unit ships in one 20ft container; allow 6–8 weeks build time.
