We build these 450L copper stills for people who already know what they want out of a run. Most units we ship go to craft distilleries running whiskey, gin, and a little moonshine through the same column — the copper is what lets them do that without swapping equipment between batches.
Where the copper actually matters
Copper in the vapor path and column, not just the shell. Our red copper pot, swan neck, and column sections run 3mm throughout; the condenser and collection vessel are stainless. That combination handles sulfur compounds without making the price or the cleaning schedule unreasonable.

Electric or steam
If your building already has steam, take the coil. Recovery is quicker and you won\’t fight scorching on grain mash. Electric works fine at this size up to roughly 60kW, and most small sites go that way because installation is cheaper.
Capacity follows batch rhythm more than tank size. 300L suits a taproom. 450L fits a distillery doing three or four runs a week. A 1000L only pays off once your fermentation and bottling can keep up with it.
Lead time runs 35–45 days. Before quoting, send us spirit type, target ABV, heat source, ceiling height, and your narrowest door width. We\’ll confirm layout and condenser size instead of guessing.
