Description
We build this 300L red copper pot still with a 4-tray column for distillers who need one rig to run whiskey, brandy, gin, and vodka. The copper pot and column sections give sulfur binding and steady reflux, while the 4-tray column lets you adjust proof without adding a separate vodka still. Most clients choose 300L because it fits a small craft distillery: two to four mash runs per week, a 6–8 hour stripping run, and enough low wines for a spirit run.
Copper contact matters most in the pot, vapor path, and column trays. We keep stainless in the boiler jacket and condenser shell where copper adds cost without flavor benefit. Electric heating suits sites without a boiler; steam gives faster heat-up and gentler control at 500L and up. At 300L, 36–48 kW electric or a low-pressure steam jacket is typical.

Optional gin basket, agitator, CIP spray ball, and shell-and-tube condenser change lead time and layout. Tell us your ceiling height, floor drain, power supply, and steam pressure before quote. We assemble and pressure-test each still, then ship with piping drawings and a spare gasket set.
Sizing guide: 200L for test batches and nano distilleries; 300L for whiskey and brandy houses doing weekly runs; 500L–1000L when you have fermentation capacity and steam. For gin, add a basket or botanical column. For vodka, more trays or a rectification column. Send your mash bill, target ABV, batch volume, and utility details, and we will quote the right column, condenser, and heating package.
