Description
A CIP skid has one job: deliver the right chemistry, temperature, flow, and contact time to every wetted surface, then recover or drain it safely. In milk and dairy lines, protein and fat films do not come off with a quick rinse. The recipe has to match loop volume, tank size, pipe diameter, and soil load. That is why we build 500 L to 10,000 L CIP systems around the plant, not the other way around.
Systems can be arranged as single-, double-, triple-, or multi-tank units. Possible configurations include alkali and acid wash tanks, a hot water tank, supply and return pumps, plate or tubular heat exchangers, and stainless piping, valves, and fittings. Electric or steam heating is selected for the site. Temperature, flow, pressure, and level instruments can link to manual, semi-automatic, or PLC control. A typical cycle runs pre-rinse, alkaline wash, intermediate rinse, acid wash when needed, final rinse, and drain or recovery. These options are confirmed per project, not supplied on every model.

| Operating temperature | Recipe-specific; commonly up to 80°C |
| Control system | Manual, semi-automatic, or PLC/HMI |
| Cleaning circuits | Single or multiple loops; supply and return headers |
| Power | 3-phase, 50 or 60 Hz; site voltage confirmed |
| Dimensions | Skid-mounted; layout per site |
| Custom options | Tank size, circuits, automation, heat source, materials |
CIP loops commonly serve milk receiving, storage tanks, pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, process piping, fillers, mixers, and blend lines. Similar skids are used in beverage, brewery, distillery, sauce, liquid food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical plants. Cleaning requirements change with product residue, surface finish, and plant hygiene program. We review the circuit before recommending tank count and pump duty.
Common questions
How do I choose tank capacity? Start with loop volume, rinse and wash recovery, number of circuits, and changeover frequency. Small skids may suit 500 L; larger dairy lines may need 5,000 L to 10,000 L.
What information speeds up a quote? Pipe diameter and length, tank volumes, soil type, utility pressure, heat source, and automation target. A simple line sketch helps more than a long specification.
Can the system be expanded later? Tank, pump, and control scope can be customized, but confirm spare capacity and skid space during design.
Factory-direct fabrication and engineering review are part of the scope. Stainless construction and custom skids are available.

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
