Description
We build CIP systems for plants that need repeatable cleaning without overcomplicating the process. A CIP unit circulates cleaning solutions through tanks, pipes, fillers, and heat exchangers under controlled temperature, flow, and concentration. The goal is consistent sanitation with minimal downtime and water use.
A typical cycle includes a pre-rinse with potable water, caustic wash at 70–80°C, intermediate rinse, acid wash if needed, final rinse, and sanitizer. Your soil type, water hardness, and production schedule dictate the sequence. We size tanks and pumps around the largest single circuit and the worst-case soil load.
Two-vessel units usually pair caustic and rinse water. Three-vessel adds an acid or hot water tank. Capacity matters: 500L and 1000L are common for mid-size dairies, breweries, and beverage lines. A 500L system might handle 10–20 m³ of circuit volume; a 1000L unit covers larger networks. We calculate flow to achieve 1.5–2.5 m/s in pipes, with pump pressures typically 3–6 bar.
Heating options include electric immersion or steam injection. Controls range from manual valves to semi-automatic timers and full PLC with data logging. Temperature, flow, pressure, and tank level monitoring are standard on automated units. We fabricate in 304 or 316L stainless, depending on your cleaning chemicals and product contact requirements.
| Parameter | Typical specification |
|---|---|
| Cleaning tank capacity | 500 L, 1000 L, or custom |
| Number of tanks | 1–4 (single, double, triple, multi) |
| Stainless steel grade | 304 or 316L |
| Heating method | Electric immersion or steam injection |
| Pump flow and pressure | 20–50 m³/h at 3–6 bar (custom) |
| Operating temperature | Up to 80°C (caustic), 60°C (acid), or per process |
| Control system | Manual, semi-automatic, or PLC with HMI |
| Cleaning circuits | Up to 6 (configurable) |
| Power supply | 3-phase, 380–480 V, 50/60 Hz |
| Dimensions | Custom to layout |
| Custom options | Tank size, circuit count, automation, skid mounting |
Applications include dairy processing, breweries, distilleries, sauce and liquid food production, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical plants. The same unit can serve multiple circuits if you plan the piping and valve manifold correctly.
Common questions: How do I choose between 2 and 3 vessels? Start with your cleaning chemistry and whether you need separate acid and caustic storage. What capacity? Base it on circuit volume and the number of cleaning cycles per shift. Can I add automation later? Yes, but it\’s cheaper to plan the valve and sensor layout upfront. What maintenance? Pump seals, valve diaphragms, and sensor calibration—budget for these.
To get a useful recommendation and quote, tell us: your industry and processed product, tank and pipe layout, required cleaning capacity, available heat source (steam or electric), desired automation level, stainless grade, and installation location. We\’ll respond with a configuration that fits your plant, not a one-size-fits-all package.

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
