Description
Four-Tank CIP Cleaning for Dairy, Juice and Beverage Lines
When a line needs repeatable cleaning between production runs, the CIP skid has to match the plant—not the other way around. We build four-tank clean-in-place systems for dairies, juice processors and beverage plants that need separate alkaline, acid, hot-water and recovery/rinse duties. Tank count, wetted materials, pump curves and control level are set against your circuit volume, soil load and shift pattern.
The cleaning cycle normally moves in stages: pre-rinse, alkaline wash, intermediate rinse, acid wash where required, final rinse and sanitizing if your procedure calls for it. Temperature, flow, pressure and conductivity are monitored at points agreed for the project. Supply and return paths are arranged for tanks, pipes, fillers, valves, pumps and heat exchangers. We confirm dead-leg limits, drainability and pump head before releasing drawings.
Typical Configuration Choices
- Single, double, triple or four-tank CIP arrangement
- Caustic and acid wash tanks, plus hot-water and recovery tanks
- Electric or steam heating, with plate, tube or immersion design as confirmed
- CIP supply pump and return pump sized to the longest circuit
- Stainless piping, valves, fittings and spray devices
- Temperature, flow, pressure and level instrumentation
- Manual, semi-automatic or PLC/HMI control
- Custom tank volumes, cleaning circuits and skid layout
These are available configuration paths, not a standard feature list. We only release a feature after it is confirmed for the model and duty.

Where These Systems Fit
Four-tank CIP systems are used in dairy processing, juice and beverage production, breweries, distilleries, sauce plants, liquid-food processing, cosmetics and pharmaceutical operations. Each duty has its own limits: dairy soils need thermal and chemical control; juice lines may need rinse-water recovery; breweries often care about circuit length and return flow; pharmaceutical and cosmetic users usually need tighter documentation and material traceability. We review the process before recommending a tank set.
FAQ
How do I choose tank capacity? Start with circuit volume, rinse-water reuse targets, cleaning frequency and available floor space. A larger tank does not automatically improve cleaning; pump flow and return balance matter.
Can the system be expanded later? Often yes, if frame, piping headers and control I/O are planned at the outset. We confirm expansion space during design.
What information speeds up a quote? Product type, tank and pipe sizes, soil type, required cleaning cycle, heat source, automation level, stainless grade and install location.
Request a Configuration Review
Send your industry and processed product, tank and pipeline details, required cleaning capacity, heat source, automation level, stainless steel grade and installation location. Our engineers will review the duty and return a practical CIP configuration, technical notes and customized quotation.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
