Description
We build these 300L copper pot stills for distilleries that have outgrown 100–200L pilot runs but are not ready for a 500L or 1000L production line. The 300L size hits a practical middle ground: enough wash charge for consistent whisky, brandy, and gin runs, yet small enough to fit a 40–60 m² production room with standard ceiling height. If you are moving from test batches to bottled releases, this is usually the capacity we quote.
Copper contact matters. Our pot, lyne arm, and condenser are copper; the onion/helmet and vapor path stay copper-rich where sulfur compounds need to bind. Columns, gin baskets, and agitators are optional. For gin, add a botanicals basket and a taller column if you want more reflux control. For whisky and brandy, a simple pot still with a shell-and-tube condenser often gives the oily, fruity character distillers look for.
Heating choice changes the install. Electric heating is simpler for small sites without a boiler; steam heating gives faster heat-up and gentler control at scale. Tell us your utility setup, floor drain, water supply, ceiling height, and local voltage before we quote. We have shipped 300L systems with steam jackets, explosion-proof motors, and custom CIP layouts.
