Where the Copper Actually Goes
We put copper where vapor and distillate touch it: pot, column, gin basket housing, and the condenser path. Trays, flanges, and the frame stay 304 stainless. That mix keeps the price reasonable and still delivers the sulfur scrubbing and mouthfeel people buy copper for.
Electric or Steam — A Real Cost Decision
Electric immersion elements are the practical pick when there is no boiler on site: 380V three-phase, 60–90 kW, plus a cooling water loop. Steam jackets make more sense once you run back-to-back batches or already own a 3–6 bar boiler. Steam recovers faster between runs and holds temperature with less babysitting. Electric costs less to install and is easier to site.

Plenty of customers start at 200L, outgrow it within a year, and come back for a 300L or 500L. If you already sell bottled product, skip the small size.
Options Worth Asking About Early
Gin basket for vapor infusion, agitator for grain-in washes, extra bubble plates if you want a cleaner neutral, and a bigger condenser for fast stripping. None of these are afterthoughts—mention them at quote stage, not after fabrication starts.
Before You Request a Quote
Send us wash ABV and volume, target proof, available power or steam pressure, ceiling height, floor loading, cooling water temperature, and destination port. Those numbers let us size the column and condenser right the first time.
