Description
We build this 400L electric steam plant for distillers who outgrew a 200L kettle but can\’t justify a boiler. Electricity makes the steam; a jacketed kettle and steam coil do the heating. No gas line, no flue stack, and in most jurisdictions no boiler room.
Volume sits in a useful spot. At 400L you\’re charging roughly 300–340L of wash or low wines per run, which puts most operators at two or three stripping runs a week on a single shift. Go smaller and you\’re batching constantly. Go bigger and you need a second fermenter plus floor space most startup leases won\’t allow.

Copper earns its place only where vapor touches it. Our standard build keeps copper in the column, the gin basket, and the condenser tube bundle; the kettle and steam jacket stay stainless, so you aren\’t paying copper prices for metal that never sees spirit. Running rum or a heavy grain mash? Ask for the copper onion and a wider vapor path.
What buyers ask about most: a 6–12L gin basket on a quick-release clamp, variable-speed agitator for grain-in fermentation, shotgun or shell-and-tube condenser, CIP spray ball, column sight glass. Tell us up front. Retro-fitting a gin basket onto a finished column is a weld job, not a bolt-on.
Before we quote we need your spirit type, target batch volume and ABV, ceiling height and doorway width at the install site, available amperage, and whether steam comes from the generator or a house boiler. A floor plan sketch saves us a week of back-and-forth.
