Description
Ten barrels is the batch size where a brewery stops being a hobby and starts needing repeatable fermentation. Our 10BBL fermenter is built for that transition: 1,175 L working volume, a 60-degree cone, and dimple glycol jackets on both the cone and the lower body so you can crash from 68°F to 34°F overnight without shocking the yeast.
Material and fabrication. Inner shell is 304 stainless at 3 mm, with 316L available where the beer is highly acidic or the process water is aggressive. All product-contact welds are TIG, argon-purged, ground flush and passivated. Interior polish is 320 grit by default, 400 grit on request. The outer shell is 304 with a brushed finish over 80 mm of injected polyurethane — enough to keep condensation off the tank in a humid cellar.
Fittings and connections. 1.5 in tri-clamp racking arm, 2 in bottom outlet, CIP spray ball, dry hop port, sample valve, and a top-mounted 2 in pressure relief valve set at 15 psi. Working pressure is 1 bar, hydro-tested at 2 bar. Glycol in/out are 1 in NPT, with baffles inside the jacket to keep flow distribution even instead of short-circuiting at the inlet.
Where these tanks fit. Craft ales and lagers, hard seltzer, cider, kombucha, and pilot runs for contract brewers. Brewpubs typically run two or three units off a shared glycol chiller; production breweries pair them with a horizontal bright beer tank for carbonation and packaging.

FAQ
Can it be used as a unitank? Yes, if you order the carbonation stone and a higher-rated PRV. Standard build is a fermenter.
How much glycol chiller do I need? Roughly 1 HP per tank for normal ale fermentation, more if you crash several tanks at once.
Do I need 316L? Only for seltzer, sour programs, or chloride-heavy water. Otherwise 304 is the practical choice.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
