Description
10,000 L Conical Fermenter for 100 HL Brewing
A 10,000 L vessel usually lands between pilot brewing and full commercial output. Brewers order this size when a 50 hl brewhouse runs double batches, or when a 100 hl brewhouse wants one fermentation cycle per tank. Cone geometry, cooling area, and pressure rating matter more than the nominal volume printed on the drawing.
We build the body from SUS304 or, for high-acid or long-term storage duty, SUS316L. Shell thickness runs 3 mm, cone 4 mm on most 100 hl tanks. Welds are TIG, ground and passivated on product-contact surfaces; interior finish is 0.4–0.8 µm Ra. Dimple or pillow jackets cover the cone and lower cylinder. Glycol at -4°C to 2°C holds lager fermentation without stratification, and jacket area is sized to pull a full batch down in a realistic crash-cooling window.
Working pressure of 0.2–0.3 MPa allows top cropping, carbonation, and pressure transfer. Every tank gets a relief valve, pressure gauge, and sample valve. A rotating CIP spray ball and dedicated CIP port keep cleaning separate from product piping. Dry hopping ports, racking arms, and carbonation stones are configured to your process.

FAQ
Can one 10,000 L tank replace two smaller fermenters? Yes, if your brewhouse can fill it in one or two turns and your glycol plant has the capacity. Splitting fermentation across two tanks gives more scheduling flexibility for different beer styles.
Do I need a conical bottom? For ale and lager fermentation, yes. The cone collects trub and yeast, so racking stays clean. Flat-bottom tanks suit bright beer storage, not active fermentation.
What information do you need for a quote? Batch size, beer type, tank count, available height, glycol supply temperature, and whether carbonation or pressure transfer is required.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
