300L Distillery Column: What We Build and Why
We build this 300L alcohol distillery with a packed or bubble-cap column depending on your spirit. Most customers running whiskey, rum, or moonshine choose a 4- to 6-plate copper column; essential oil producers often switch to a taller packed column and a smaller condenser. The boiler is 304 stainless on the outside, with copper contact in the column, lyne arm, and condenser where sulfur compounds and flavor matter.

200L suits a small taproom or pilot plant. 300L fits a craft distillery doing 2–4 runs per week. 500L and 1000L make sense when you already have steam, cooling water, and tank space. Electric heating is simpler for 300L if you lack a boiler; steam gives faster heat-up and gentler control at 500L and up.
Before quoting, send us: target ABV, wash type, batch size, available ceiling height, power supply, water flow/temp, and whether you need a gin basket, agitator, or CIP. We also need your port and nearest freight terminal. Column height drives shipping cost and installation clearance more than boiler width. Keep 900 mm service space around the boiler and plan a floor drain. Copper sections need occasional citric passivation; gaskets and sight glasses are normal spare parts.
