Description
We ship 600L copper stills to distillers who outgrew a 300L kettle but don\’t want to fire a 1000L system on every batch. Most of them run 8–15 charges a month: a gin house with a busy taproom, or a whiskey producer laying down barrels while keeping vodka and brandy in rotation.

Where copper actually matters: the pot interior, the column plates, and the vapor path. We keep the jacket and cladding in stainless — it holds pressure better and keeps your price down. Everything the vapor touches is copper.
Heating decides most builds. Steam if you already have a boiler or run batches back to back. Electric immersion if you\’re on a small floor with 380V/3-phase power and don\’t want to wait on a boiler. Direct fire still exists, but it\’s fussy at 600L.
A gin basket sits in the column or a separate gin head. Order it with the still, not after — the flange pattern changes. An agitator earns its cost on grain-in or fruit mash. For the condenser, shell-and-tube suits whiskey, a coil suits gin.
Plan the room before the equipment. You need about 3.5 m of ceiling to lift the column out, a floor drain, and clearance around the condenser. A 600L still usually ships as a 40HQ with the column crated separately.
Before we quote, send us the spirit type, charge size, heating source, available voltage, ceiling height, whether you want a gin basket, and the destination port. That\’s enough for a real number instead of a range.
