800L Copper & Hybrid Still: Who Actually Buys This Size
Most people asking about an 800L unit already run a 300L or 500L and the kettle has become the bottleneck. Two shifts a day, a barrel program that keeps growing, and no room for another floor-standing still. That is usually how the conversation starts.
We put copper where it earns its keep: the pot, the column sections, the lyne arm, the condenser shell. Trays and perforated plates inside the hybrid column can be stainless — a lot of whiskey houses prefer it for cleaning and weight. Gin producers typically want more copper in the vapor path, so we spec a taller packed section instead.

Electric immersion heating is what most craft sites pick at this size — no boiler, no steam piping, lower install cost. If you already run steam for a mash tun, a jacketed version pays off in cycle time and gentler heat. Semi-automatic on this still means PLC control of temperature and shutdown with manual valves; operators still make the cuts by hand.
Gin baskets, agitators, CIP spray balls, a second condenser, column sight glasses — all easier to fit during the build than after the still lands on your floor.
What we need before quoting
Send batch size in liters of wash, target ABV, spirit type, ceiling height, available power (voltage, phase, kW) and whether you have steam. A room sketch helps. Those answers move the price more than anything else on the datasheet.
