600L Column & Pot Still Combination
We build this 600L unit for distillers who need one still to do two jobs. A column for clean, high-proof spirit runs. A pot still head and gin basket for botanical batches. Most buyers at this size are filling 200–400 bottles a week, and they don\’t have the floor space or the budget for two separate vessels.

Copper contact is where I push back on most spec sheets. A 600L still doesn\’t need a solid copper shell. It needs copper where vapor actually travels: packing, lyne arm, and the onion above the pot. Stainless outside keeps cost and polishing down. Our mesh pulls out, so you can boil it and drop it back in.
Heating comes down to your building, not your recipe. Electric is fine up to roughly 80 kW on a 600L charge with 3-phase power. Steam is gentler on grain-in washes and recovers faster between runs, but it means a boiler — a real cost. No boiler room yet? Go electric.
Sizing up or down
300L suits a taproom still. 500–600L is the usual craft step-up. At 1000L, once you\’re running double shifts, we generally move customers to steam.
What to send us
Wash ABV, batch size, target proof, heating source, ceiling height, widest door, and whether you run grain-in. With those, we confirm column height, condenser size, and gin basket placement in a day. Decide on the agitator and CIP setup early — retrofitting later always costs more than building it in.
