Description

This 10,000 L vessel suits breweries that need a pressure-rated fermentation or bright-beer tank for real production, not a showpiece. We build it in SUS304 as standard; 316L is available for high-chloride cleaning or product-contact requirements. Shell and cone are TIG welded, then pickled and passivated where specified. Internal polish is set to match CIP return, usually Ra 0.8 µm or better on request. Jacket area, dimple pattern and insulation thickness are confirmed against batch size, glycol supply and room temperature.

Temperature control drives fermentation consistency. Poor jacket coverage causes slow crashes, uneven attenuation and stressed yeast. For 10,000 L batches, tell us wort volume, original gravity, turn time and glycol temperature. A conical bottom supports yeast harvest and trub removal; a dish bottom suits bright beer or holding duty. Working pressure and safety-valve setting must match relief design, not only the tank stamp. CIP spray ball, racking arm, sample valve, pressure gauge, relief valve and dry-hop port are specified to your process. Confirm clamp standards, thread types and cold-room layout before fabrication.

These tanks fit craft breweries, regional breweries, beverage plants and contract fermenting sites. A small brewhouse may run one 10,000 L tank with flexible scheduling; a commercial site often pairs several tanks with automated glycol control. Material grade, insulation, cladding and valve package affect cost more than volume alone.

FAQ

What batch suits 10,000 L? Plan for 80–85% working volume; confirm final wort volume and headspace.

Do I need a conical bottom? Use cone for yeast collection and dry hopping; dish bottom for bright beer holding.

How is CIP handled? Spray ball position, drain slope and valve layout determine cleaning coverage.

Customer Review

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
