10BBL Conical Beer Fermenter Jacketed Unitank for Brewery Price range: $3,926.15 through $8,719.74

Description

We build 10BBL conical fermenters for brewers who need repeatable fermentation, not showroom equipment. The 10-barrel working volume fits a typical microbrewery or brewpub brewhouse, with roughly 20% headspace above the wort line for krausen and CO2 foam.

Tank design and fabrication

The body is SUS304 stainless steel, 3mm shell and 3mm dish heads, with a 60-degree cone. For breweries running high-acid or long-contact beers, we offer 316L wetted parts. Inner surface is pickled and passivated, then polished to Ra 0.4-0.6µm in the cone and lower shell where yeast and trub settle. Dimple jackets on the cone and lower cylinder handle crash cooling and diacetyl rests. The outer shell is 1.5-2mm stainless with insulation to limit condensation in humid cellars.

Pressure and sealing

Working pressure is 0.2MPa, tested at 0.3MPa. A top-mounted adjustable PRV and bottom-mounted sample valve are standard. CIP is handled through a rotating spray ball in the top manway, with a dedicated CIP port on the cone. Tri-clamp fittings let you connect blow-off, racking, carbonation stones and cold-side hoses without custom adapters.

FAQ

Why cone bottom? Yeast and dry-hop solids collect in the narrow cone, so you can drop them without losing beer. A flat or shallow cone makes that hard on a 10BBL batch.

How to size for a brewpub? Match the fermenter to your brewhouse volume. A 10BBL kettle needs several 10BBL fermenters if you turn beer weekly and want variety on tap.

What about CIP and cold-side connections? All ports are tri-clamp. You can route CIP, CO2 and cold glycol with standard brewery hoses, no proprietary parts.

Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
