Description
CIP Systems Built Around the Circuit You Actually Run
Most CIP projects start with a complaint: changeovers eat the shift, or a manual wash leaves residue in the return line that nobody can reach. A CIP unit is a small process plant on its own — tanks, supply and return pumps, heat, and enough instrumentation to prove the loop hit temperature and flow for the full contact time.
We build skid-mounted and floor-standing units in 304 or 316L stainless, with the piping, valves, and instrumentation assembled and pressure-tested before shipment. Whether one tank or four, the layout follows how your plant cleans.
What the cleaning cycle looks like
A typical sequence: pre-rinse to push product out, caustic wash at 75–80 °C, intermediate rinse, acid wash where mineral scale builds, final rinse, and optionally a sanitizing step. Conductivity or turbidity readings mark the product-to-water interface so rinse water is recovered instead of dumped. The return pump returns solution to the tank through a strainer; a plugged strainer is the most common cause of weak flow at the far end of a long loop.
Alkali and acid tanks, hot water tanks, and a dedicated rinse tank are common. Two-tank acid/caustic sets suit dairies with pasteurizers; single-tank units with a reheat coil work for smaller bottling runs. Heat comes from steam injection, steam coils, or electric elements — tell us which you have on site.
Where CIP earns its investment
Milk and dairy lines, juice and beverage blending, brewery fermenters and bright tanks, sauce and liquid food processing, cosmetics batching, and pharmaceutical vessels. Viscous products and long dead legs need higher flow velocity and longer wash times, so circuit volume matters as much as tank size.

Questions we get before quoting
How do I size the tank? Count the total volume of vessels, lines, and heat exchangers cleaned in one loop, then add 30–50% working margin. Undersized tanks run dry mid-cycle; oversized tanks waste chemical and heat.
Can it clean several lines? Yes, with a supply manifold and return changeover valves. Each circuit needs its own flow verification.
What about documentation? We supply material certificates, wiring diagrams, and operating manuals. Site-specific sanitary acceptance stays with your local inspector.
How long is delivery? Standard skids run 25–40 days; multi-tank custom units longer.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
