Description
We build this 3000L double copper pot still for whiskey and rum producers who need repeatable batches without jumping to 5000L. The support desk keeps both pots, condenser, and piping at working height, and cuts floor footprint compared with two separate frames.
Copper contact matters. We keep the kettle, swan neck, and lyne arm in 3–5 mm copper. On steam-heated units, the jacket and inner shell are stainless; copper stays in the vapor path. Electric heating suits sites without a boiler, but power demand is high and recovery is slower. Steam gives gentler heat and faster turnaround if you already run a boiler.
A 3000L pot usually fits a distillery filling one to two mashes per day and targeting 300–800 bottles weekly, depending on proof and cuts. Occasional batches run cheaper on 1000L or 1500L. At 200–500L, most craft customers are pilot or taproom scale.

We ask about gin basket, agitator, condenser type, CIP spray ball, and reflux column. A gin basket changes vapor path; an agitator helps grain-in mashes; worm tub versus shell-and-tube changes cooling water load. Support desk height and ladder access must match the building.
Before quote, send expected batches per week, wash ABV, target proof, heating source, cooling water temperature and flow, room dimensions, door width, and local electrical or steam specs. We confirm copper thickness, flange standard, and shipping split. Installation usually takes two to four weeks; maintenance is mostly gaskets, sight glass, and CIP checks.
