Built for 300L runs, not catalog specs
We build this 300L multifunctional still for distilleries moving beyond 100–200L pilot batches but not ready for a 500L or 1000L steam plant. A 300L boiler gives you roughly 240–270L of usable wash at 80–90% fill, so you can run fruit brandy, whiskey, rum, or gin on the same frame. Most customers choose 300L when they want two to four stripping runs per week and a spirit run that finishes in one day.

Heating: electric vs. steam
If you have 480V three-phase and no boiler, electric is simpler. We usually fit 24–36 kW in 300L, with zoning to avoid scorching fruit washes. Steam is better when you already run a boiler, need faster heat-up, or plan to scale to 500L later. Jacket pressure and condensate return matter more than the kW number on paper.
Copper, gin basket, agitator
Copper belongs where vapor is active: column, condenser, and gin basket. A full copper boiler looks nice, but it costs more and needs more polishing. For fruit brandy, we often add an agitator to keep solids moving and a wider column for a cleaner cut. Gin basket sizing depends on your botanical load; too small and you choke vapor flow.
Before quote, send us wash type, ABV, batch volume, available power/steam, ceiling height, floor drain, and shipping port. We\’ll return a layout, utility list, and lead time. If 300L feels tight in six months, tell us now—frame and column can be prepped for a later 500L boiler.
