Description
We build this 400L copper pot still for gin producers, whiskey distilleries and contract bottlers who outgrew a 200L but aren\’t ready to commit to a 1000L turnkey line. Copper sits where vapor actually touches metal — pot, swan neck, upper column. Below the liquid line we run 304 stainless, because copper thins out fast when it sits in acidic wash.

Heating decides your layout more than capacity does. Direct electric elements keep things simple: a 400L on 30–45kW runs off a 380/415V three-phase supply and nobody buys a boiler. Trade-off is scorching on grain-in washes and slower ramp times. Jacketed steam is gentler, holds a steadier boil, and scales past 500L without rebuilding the element bank. Gin at 60–80% ABV in the pot? Either works. Thick rye or rum wash? Go steam.
Options we fit most often: a gin basket in the vapor path above the column, a variable-speed agitator, and a shell-and-tube condenser sized to your cooling water. Plate condensers cost less but foul quickly on oily botanical runs.
Before we quote, send us: spirit type and target ABV, batch size per run, ceiling height, power supply (volts, phase, amps), steam pressure if you already have a boiler, cooling water temperature, and destination port. Those answers move the price more than any option list. We reply with a drawing and a build window — usually 25–35 days fabrication, 30–40 days sea freight.
