Built for 1,000 L Brewhouse Batches
We build this 1000 L glycation vessel for breweries that need a practical mash conversion step before lautering and boiling. The working volume suits brewpubs, pilot plants and small commercial breweries running one or two brews per day. The vessel is not a generic stock tank: we set the agitator, false bottom, heating jacket and outlet height around your grist load, brewhouse layout and cleaning method.
Materials and fabrication
Wort contact surfaces are SUS304 as standard, with 316L available where chloride exposure or aggressive cleaning makes it worthwhile. Inner shells are typically 3 mm, outer cladding 2 mm, with 80 mm polyurethane insulation. Welds are argon-purged TIG, then pickled and passivated. We keep the interior free of dead legs and sharp transitions; a 2B finish is normal, with Ra ≤0.8 µm polishing available for tighter hygiene requirements. Food-grade EPDM or silicone seals are used on manway and tri-clamp connections. The agitator, CIP spray ball, heating jacket and sensor ports are positioned during fabrication, not added as an afterthought.
Applications
Typical installations include craft breweries, brewpubs, pilot breweries and beverage plants making wort-based products. For high-gravity or high-adjunct grists, we increase agitation and jacket area. For simple recipes, a basic fixed-speed drive and manual valves may be enough.

FAQ
Can we run high-gravity mashes? Yes, but send the grist ratio and target gravity. We adjust agitator power and jacket area accordingly.
How is CIP handled? A 360° spray ball and sloped outlet reduce pooling. Match the pump flow to the spray ball and avoid dead legs.
Can connections match our existing brewhouse? Yes. Provide pipe sizes, sensor types and valve standards before fabrication.
