Description
Brite Tanks Built for Conditioning, Carbonation, and Serving
We build 5, 8, and 10 BBL brite tanks for breweries that need stable carbonation, clear beer, and a clean serving vessel. The same shell works for sake storage and service when ports and finishes match the product. A brite tank is not a fermenter with a different label. It needs a pressure-rated vessel, a sanitary interior, and enough cooling surface to hold 34–38°F without cycling the glycol system hard.
Our standard tank uses SUS304 stainless steel. For sake, fruit beer, or plants using chlorinated cleaners, 316L is available. Interior surfaces are 2B mill finish or polished to 320 grit on request. Welds are ground, brushed, and passivated. Each tank receives a hydrostatic test and a pressure test before shipment.
Cooling and Pressure Control
A dimpled glycol jacket on the side wall and cone removes heat during carbonation and serving. We size the jacket area around the batch volume, not just the tank diameter. Insulation is 80–100 mm polyurethane with a stainless outer shell. Working pressure is typically 15–30 psi, with a pressure relief valve, pressure gauge, and carbonation stone. If the tank will be used for sake, we adjust the relief setting and port layout to reduce oxygen pickup.
CIP and Connections
CIP is handled by a rotating spray ball, usually 1.5 in. The tank includes a racking arm, sample valve, drain, glycol in/out, and a dedicated CIP port. We can match your existing DIN, Tri-Clamp, or BMC connections. For serving tanks, we often add a sight glass and a separate CO2 regulator port.

FAQ
How do I choose between 5, 8, and 10 BBL? Match the tank to your packaged batch size and available floor space. A 10 BBL tank saves floor area per barrel, but it needs a glycol system that can pull down the full volume.
Do I need 316L? For beer, 304 is common. Choose 316L for sake, high-chloride environments, or if your CIP chemicals are aggressive.
Can one tank carbonate and serve? Yes. A brite tank with a carbonation stone and serving port can do both, but separate tanks reduce downtime during peak service.
Tell us your batch size, beer or sake type, number of tanks, and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area, and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
