Description
Most brewpubs outgrow 500L tanks faster than they plan to. Once you are packaging twice a week and still running dry, a 1000L cylindrical-conical fermenter is the practical next size — enough to feed a taproom plus one small distribution account, small enough to cool with the glycol chiller you already have.
We build this CCT as a true unitank. Body and cone are 3mm SUS304 (316L on request for kettle sours and heavy fruit programs), TIG welded, pickled and passivated, then mechanically polished to about 0.4 µm Ra on the product side. Dimple-plate jackets cover both the cylinder and the lower cone. That detail matters during crash cooling: a cone-only jacket pulls temperature down slowly and leaves stratification you will taste in the first kegs.
The 60° cone drains cleanly and gives you a real yeast and trub dump, with a 2\” bottom outlet and a racking arm above it. Standard ports include a 400mm top manway, CIP spray ball, dry hop port, sample valve, thermowell, and an adjustable pressure relief valve. Tanks are hydro-tested at 3 bar and rated around 2 bar working pressure, but the relief setting should match what your beer actually needs — carbonation pressure or just head pressure during transfer.
Insulation is 80mm polyurethane under 2mm stainless cladding, so the tank holds temperature in a warm taproom without the chiller cycling all day.

FAQ
Can I carbonate in this tank? Yes, within its pressure rating. If you plan to package directly from the tank, tell us — we will confirm the relief valve setting and fitting schedule before fabrication.
What glycol temperature do I need? Most breweries run 28–30°F supply. Jacket surface area on a 1000L tank is sized for that range; colder supply does not speed up cooling much once the tank is insulated properly.
Can it run as a brite tank instead? It can, but a dedicated brite with a shallower cone and larger cooling area carbonates faster. Many customers order one CCT and one brite rather than two of the same tank.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
