Description
We build this 300L still for fruit brandy houses, whiskey startups, and gin contract distilleries that need repeatable runs without jumping to a 1000L system. Most buyers come to us after outgrowing a 100–200L pilot still or before committing to a full production line.
Why 300L? It is a practical middle point. A 200L still suits recipe testing and very small releases. A 500L or 1000L still makes sense when you already have steady distribution and can fill the kettle most days. The 300L gives you room to grow while keeping steam and cooling demand manageable.
Heating: steam or electric
If your building has a boiler, steam heating usually wins for faster heat-up and gentler control. No boiler? Electric heating is simpler to install, but check your electrical service first. We size elements and controls around your voltage, phases, and available power. Steam jackets and electric elements both work; the decision is site infrastructure, not marketing.

Copper, gin basket, agitator, condenser
Copper matters in the vapor path and kettle for sulfur removal and flavor. Stainless is fine for non-copper sections. Gin producers often ask for a basket in the column or in a dedicated section. Fruit brandy and mash distillers may need an agitator to keep solids moving and avoid scorching. Condenser sizing follows your run rate and cooling water temperature.
What to send before a quote
Tell us your feedstock, batch size, target ABV, heating preference, available power, steam pressure, cooling water, ceiling height, floor space, and local code requirements. A simple sketch of the stillhouse helps. We will recommend a 300L configuration that fits your building, not just the kettle.
