Description
What You\’re Actually Buying
These are unitank-style fermentation vessels sized 500 L, 1000 L, 2000 L, 3000 L and 5000 L. Each one is a vertical cylinder with a conical bottom, a dimple-jacket cooling zone on the cone and lower shell, and a top manway wide enough to dry hop through and to reach the spray ball. Nothing about that layout is decorative. It exists so one vessel can ferment, condition and carbonate without a transfer in between.
Material and Welding Decisions
The inner shell is 3 mm SUS304 as standard. We move to 316L when a customer runs high-adjunct wort, sour programs, or aggressive acid CIP blends. Cone and shell seams are TIG welded, ground, then passivated. Interior finish is normally 0.4 μm Ra, smooth enough for CIP without becoming a mirror surface you have to protect. Insulation is 80–100 mm PU foam under a 1.5–2 mm stainless outer wrap. Without it, condensation on the shell kills jacket efficiency in a humid cellar.
Cooling, Pressure and Cleaning
Jacket working pressure sits near 0.3 MPa; vessel working pressure at 0.2 MPa. A mechanical relief valve is mandatory. A blocked blow-off arm on a 3000 L tank at high krausen is a real hazard, not a theoretical one. Glycol in and glycol out stay on a separate loop from the CIP return, so caustic never reaches the chiller. Expect a racking arm, sample valve, dry-hop port and pressure gauge on the front face.

Questions We Get Before Every Order
Which volume? Match the tank to your brewhouse batch, then leave 20–25% headspace for krausen. A 1000 L tank realistically holds about 800 L of wort.
Conical or flat bottom? Go conical when you want to drop yeast and carbonate in the same vessel. Flat bottom suits bright beer storage and open fermentation.
304 or 316L? 316L pays off with sour beer, high-chloride water, or frequent acidic cleaning. Otherwise 304 holds up fine for years.
Small craft setups usually start with two or three 500–1000 L tanks and grow by adding identical units. Commercial breweries order in matched banks so CIP and glycol manifolds stay uniform.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
