Description
Two 500L Vessels, One Footprint
Cellar space is usually the constraint, not budget. Stacking a pair of 500L bright beer tanks on a shared 304 stainless frame lets a brewpub or a small packaging brewery hold two separate beers in conditioning at the same time without giving up floor area to a second tank. Each vessel works independently — separate glycol circuit, separate gas and CIP connections — so a lager and an IPA can carbonate side by side without cross-contamination.
Fabrication Details That Decide Service Life
We build the shells from 3mm SUS304 plate, TIG welded inside and out, then grind, pickle and passivate every weld seam. Interior surfaces are polished to Ra ≤0.6 µm, which keeps hop oils and yeast film from lodging in the grain boundary and makes CIP cycles shorter. Exterior gets a #4 brushed finish or a mirror polish if the tanks sit in a taproom. A dimple jacket covers the side wall and lower head, wrapped in 80mm polyurethane foam under a stainless cladding — that combination holds a 2°C product temperature within ±0.5°C during a slow carbonation.
Fittings are DIN or Tri-Clamp, your choice: racking arm, sample valve, CO₂ carb stone, pressure relief valve set at 2.5 bar, and a 1.5 bar working pressure rating. If you plan to push beer with top pressure rather than a pump, tell us — we adjust head thickness and the PRV setting accordingly.
Where These Tanks Fit
Brewpubs serving directly from tank, contract breweries that need buffer capacity before a canning line, and beverage plants running kombucha or cold brew all use this configuration. A 60° conical bottom version suits beers you want to drop yeast from; a shallow dish bottom with a side racking arm suits filtered or already-crashed beer.

Questions We Get Before Every Order
Can the tanks be separated later? Yes. The frame is bolted, so the upper vessel can be removed and set on its own legs if your layout changes.
What glycol supply do I need? Budget roughly 3–4 kW of chiller capacity per 500L tank during active crashing, and size the pump for the jacket pressure drop we send with the drawings.
How is CIP handled? A rotating spray ball is fitted in the top manway; a single pump and caustic tank can serve both vessels through a manifold.
Do you customize? Manway size, outlet height, leg clearance and connection positions are all built to your drawing.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
