We build these copper distillation pots for distillers who need a flexible gin and alcohol setup without a full industrial column. They want a dependable pot, a clean copper contact path, and enough control to run test batches before committing to a larger system.
Copper matters in the vapor path, not everywhere. Our boilers can be stainless steel with a copper dome, copper column, and copper condenser. That keeps cost sensible while giving gin and whiskey the sulfur stripping and flavor development copper is known for. A 200L unit suits a small taproom or pilot plant. 300L and 500L fit craft distilleries running weekly batches. 1000L makes sense when you already have steam, floor space, and a bottling plan.
Heating choice trips up buyers more than anything. Electric is simple: lower upfront utility work, easier for spaces without a boiler. Steam gives faster heat-up, gentler jacket control, and lower cost per batch at larger sizes. If you compare a 300L electric and 500L steam unit, ask how many batches per week you can sell, not just tank price.
A gin basket goes in the vapor path for botanical runs. An agitator helps with grain-in or thick washes. Condenser size, CIP ports, safety valves, and sight glasses are worth specifying early. We also ask about ceiling height, door width, boiler capacity, voltage, water supply, and drain location before quoting. Those details affect shipping, rigging, and install more than most buyers expect.
