300L Copper Pot Still: What We Build and Why
We build this 300L copper pot still for distilleries that need flexibility without jumping to a 500L or 1000L footprint. Most customers choosing 300L run whiskey, brandy, gin, or vodka in batches, often 3–5 days a week. A 200L suits a small taproom or pilot plant. 500L and 1000L make sense once you have steady fermentation volume and a boiler to match.
Copper contact matters. We keep the pot, onion, and column sections copper where vapor and liquid interact. Stainless is fine for piping, tanks, and condensers when budget or cleaning is the priority. For gin, a copper gin basket gives you a clean botanical pass. An agitator helps with grain-in or high-solids washes. A rectifying column lets you push proof higher without a separate unit.

Electric vs steam: electric is simpler for small rooms and no boiler; steam gives faster heat-up and gentler control at 500L+. Tell us your wash ABV, target proof, batch time, ceiling height, floor drain, and power supply. We\’ll quote the right column, condenser, and layout. Shipping and rigging are often the surprise cost, so share site access early. We can also advise on CIP and maintenance clearance. For a 300L unit, plan 2.5–3 m ceiling and 1.5 m service space around the pot.
Before we quote, send batch size, spirit type, heating preference, voltage or steam pressure, and room dimensions. That keeps the proposal accurate and avoids expensive changes later.
