Description
We build the 400L distillery plant as a compact turnkey skid for distilleries moving past pilot batches but not ready for a 1000L system. The brewhouse and fermenter handle grain-in or clear wort, while the pot still and column still can run separately or as a paired setup. Most customers use one vessel for stripping and the other for spirit runs, then switch to a gin basket for gin.

Specs change with spirit. Vodka producers often want more column plates and a reflux condenser. Whisky runs usually need copper in the vapor path and a pot still with enough headspace to avoid puking. Gin recipes drive gin basket size and maceration options. We keep copper where it affects flavor and use stainless where it does not.
When customers ask about 200L, 300L, 500L, or 1000L, we look at mash bill, batches per week, steam availability, and floor space. Electric heating is simpler for small rooms without a boiler. Steam is better if you already run a boiler or plan multiple stills. A 400L plant often fits a 40ft container when crated in sections. Installation needs 3-phase power, water, drain, ventilation, and forklift access.
Options include gin basket, agitator, extra condenser, proofing parrot, sight glasses, sanitary pumps, and PLC controls. For a quote, send spirit type, batch size, runs per week, heating preference, voltage or steam pressure, footprint, ceiling height, and destination port. We can then confirm whether 400L is right or if a 500L/1000L makes more sense. Maintenance is mainly gaskets, seals, valves, and cleaning access. Keep spare heating elements and pump seals on hand.
