We build these electric copper pot stills for small distilleries that need repeatable batch runs without a boiler room. The copper contact matters most in the vapor path: onion/head, column, lyne arm, and condenser. Our standard build uses a stainless pressure vessel for the jacket and inner boiler, with copper where flavor chemistry actually happens. That keeps maintenance sane and the distillate clean across whiskey, gin, and rum trials.
Capacity usually follows your fermenter size, not your ambition. A 200L still fits a taproom or pilot plant running 2–4 batches a week. 300L to 500L suits a craft distillery selling bottles and kegs. 1000L makes sense when you already have steam and a real bottling line. Electric heating is simple: no boiler, lower install cost, easy zoning. Steam heats faster and holds better for 500L+ or back-to-back stripping runs. We ask for kW, voltage, phase, and ambient temp before quoting because a 300L electric unit can pull serious amps.
Options we discuss early: gin basket in the vapor path, agitator for grain-in fermentation, CIP spray ball, reflux column, and condenser type. A shotgun condenser saves floor space; a coil condenser costs less but needs more water. Tell us your expected ABV, batch time, and floor drain location. We’ll confirm drawings, shipping dimensions, and spare parts list before deposit.
