Description

What this brewhouse is built to do

This two-tank, three-vessel brewhouse suits pubs, taprooms, and small contract breweries running 200–1,000 L batches. We configure vessel functions around your brew sheet: mash/lauter, kettle/whirlpool, and hot liquor, with piping arranged to keep transfer runs short. The target is repeatable extract, stable boil-off, and a hot side two people can clean without climbing over tanks.

Fabrication details that matter

Wort contact parts are SUS304; SUS316L is available for chloride exposure or aggressive cleaning chemistry. Shells are TIG welded, with internal seams ground flush where wort can collect. Pickling and passivation are quoted when the brew plan includes high chloride or frequent caustic cycles. Sanitary clamps, EPDM or silicone gaskets, and TC or DIN ports match your cellar. Steam jackets are pressure-tested; electric heating uses low-watt-density elements to limit scorching. Relief valves are sized to vessel working pressure, not boiler output.

Practical configuration notes

  • Mash/lauter with false bottom, sparge ring, and sight glass
  • Kettle/whirlpool with tangential inlet and CIP spray ball
  • Plate or counterflow chiller, oxygen drop, and transfer pump
  • Manual or PID control with temperature and level feedback

FAQ

Two-tank or three-vessel? Pick three-vessel when your brew sheet needs separate mash and lauter steps, or when back-to-back batches justify dedicated hot liquor. Two-tank layouts save floor space but add transfer time.

Can the kettle handle high-gravity wort? Yes, but confirm boil volume and heating surface. High-gravity batches often need more headspace and lower element density.

How is CIP handled? Spray balls, a dedicated CIP pump, and short, drainable runs. Avoid dead legs at valves and sample ports.

Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, heating method and vessel layout for your brewery.

Customer Review

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
