Description
A 10,000L system is a production decision, not an upgrade
A 10,000L batch puts you in the range where brewhouse layout and utilities matter more than the vessels themselves. Roughly 12–16 brews a week on a two-vessel setup gives you 1.2–1.6 million liters a year, and at that volume a 2°C drift in fermentation temperature shows up in your yeast performance and your packaging yield. Most of the inquiries we get at this size come from breweries moving off 2,000–3,000L skids that have run out of cellar space and are tired of triple-batching into the fermenter.
Fabrication details that decide how long the tanks last
We build the brewhouse and cellar vessels in SUS304 as standard, with 316L offered for the mash tun and anywhere wort sits in contact with chlorides or aggressive CIP chemistry. Inner shells run 3–4mm, dimple cooling jackets 1.5–2mm, and the outer cladding 2mm. Interior welds are ground and pickled, then passivated; we hold Ra ≤0.8µm on product-contact surfaces. Insulation is 80–100mm polyurethane under a stainless jacket, which is what keeps a 10,000L unit from sweating in a warm cellar.
Cone angle, jacket coverage, and racking port height are all adjustable at drawing stage. Skipping that step is the most common mistake we see — brewers accept a catalog tank and later find the yeast dump sits below the drain on their floor slope.
Typical installations
Craft production breweries, contract brewing halls, beverage plants running kombucha or non-alcoholic wort bases, and brewpub groups centralizing production. Steam, electric, or direct-fired heating options all exist; steam is the usual choice above 5,000L.

Questions we get before quoting
Can one tank handle both fermentation and conditioning? Yes, with a dual-jacket configuration. Single-jacket tanks save cost but limit you to one temperature zone.
Is 316L necessary? Usually not for beer. It matters with high-chloride water or acidic RTD products.
What glycol capacity do I need? Plan on 1.5–2x the jacket volume plus chiller headroom for peak crash cooling.
How is CIP connected? Through a dedicated spray ball port and a bottom outlet tee; specify DN50 minimum.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
