Description
Those 1000L and 1500L numbers usually mean 10 or 15 hl of hot wort per batch. We build the line as a set, not as separate vessels picked from a catalog: mash tun, lauter tun or a combined mash-lauter, brew kettle with whirlpool, hot liquor tank, wort chiller, and the conical fermenters with cooling jackets. A typical package runs two to six fermenters against one or two brews a day.
Wetted parts are SUS304 unless the hop load, cleaning chemistry, or your own internal spec calls for 316L. Plate thickness runs from 1.5 mm on a 10 hl tank to 3 mm at larger diameters. Interior surfaces are polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm; exteriors come brushed or mirror-polished. Shell seams are automatic TIG, fittings and flanges hand-TIG — those hand welds are where leaks start, so every jacket seam gets penetrant inspection and a hydrostatic test before shipment.
Temperature control starts with jacket coverage. If the jacket only wraps the lower third of the cone, you will chase diacetyl for an extra day every batch. We size the glycol or chilled water circuit from your crash-cooling target, not from tank volume alone. Working pressure stays at 0.15–0.2 MPa on the vessel and 0.3 MPa on the jacket, with a spring-loaded relief valve set below the design pressure and a separate vacuum breaker for CIP cycles.

Questions we get before quoting
Can I add tanks later? Yes, if the glycol header and control panel are sized for the final cellar count from day one. Resizing the chiller afterward costs more than buying the larger unit up front.
Conical or flat bottom? Conical for anything with dry hopping or where you want yeast dropped and harvested cleanly. Flat-bottom tanks suit cask and some traditional ale work.
How is CIP handled? Rotary spray balls in the dome, a dedicated CIP pump and caustic tank, and a drain port at the cone tip sized for the flow rate.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
