Description
We build the 300L copper still for people who are past the hobby stage but not ready to sign a lease on a 1000L system. Most units leaving our floor go to craft distilleries running two to four mashes a week — enough whiskey, rum or brandy to keep a tasting room and a couple of distributors supplied.
Copper is not decoration. The pot, the vapor path, the column and the lyne arm all need real copper contact, because that is where sulfur compounds get scrubbed out. We run 3mm copper on the pot and 2mm on the swan neck. When a supplier quotes stainless for the vapor line, the spirit comes off hotter and sharper, and the cuts get harder to read.

Electric versus steam comes down to your boiler room. If it already exists, take steam: even heat, no scorching on grain-in washes. Electric is simpler where there is no boiler, and 300L is close to the ceiling for that before element life gets short.
Three things we ask before quoting: gin basket in the column, agitator for grain-in, and condenser type — shell-and-tube for vodka columns, worm for whiskey and rum character. Send us wash type, target ABV, ceiling height, power supply, and whether you need a CE or ASME package. That is what moves the price, not the capacity number.
