Description
We build the 500L skid around a Siemens PLC, pneumatic valves, and temperature/pressure sensors. One-button start runs heat-up, reflux, and cut points. Remote access lets your head distiller check a run from home; I’ve seen that save a weekend shift for a small whiskey house.
Capacity choices usually map to production rhythm. A 200L system suits recipe trials, 300L works for a taproom or small brand, 500L fits a growing craft distillery running 3–5 mashes a week, and 1000L makes sense when steam and tank space are already in place. The 500L is a middle ground: enough volume for wholesale, but still manageable in a 20-ft container.

Heating matters more than the brochure. Electric is simpler where you lack a boiler; steam gives faster recovery and lower cost per liter if you have 1–2 bar available. We keep copper in the column and vapor path for sulfur stripping; stainless elsewhere keeps cleaning easier.
Options include a gin basket, agitator, CIP, extra condenser, and reflux splitter. Tell us your wash ABV, target proof, batch time, ceiling height, power supply, water temp, and destination port. Then we size valves and piping correctly instead of guessing.
