Description
What this brewhouse is built for
This 500L/1000L stainless steel brewery system is a practical package for craft breweries that need repeatable batch control without overbuilding the plant. It suits ales, lagers, stouts and seasonal releases where wort production, fermentation temperature and cleaning access matter more than front-panel decoration. The vessel set can be arranged as brewhouse, fermenters, bright tanks and CIP skid; final layout follows your floor plan, steam or electric heating choice, and packaged beer or taproom demand.
Fabrication and material choices
We normally build product-contact parts in SUS304; 316L is available for high-chloride water, aggressive cleaning cycles or buyer specification. Cone and dish heads are pressed, not hammer-formed. Shell welds are full-penetration where required, ground and passivated. Interior surfaces reach Ra ≤0.8 µm on request; exterior can be brushed or mirror-polished. Jackets are dimple or coil type, pressure-tested before insulation. Glycol jacket coverage should match tank volume and expected crash-cooling load, not just the tank outline.

FAQ
How should I choose 500L or 1000L? Start with packaged volume, brew frequency and tank count. A 1000L system often makes sense when one brew day must fill two fermenters; 500L suits trial batches and taproom rotation.
Do I need conical bottoms? Yes for most ale and lager fermenters. The cone collects yeast and trub, so dry hopping and cropping do not turn into a manual scraping job.
How does pressure control work? The tank is rated for working pressure, and the safety valve is set below that rating. Do not treat a pressure gauge as a safety device.
How is CIP handled? A spray ball, pump and proper slope matter more than extra fittings. We position ports so cleaning solution reaches the cone, racking arm and sample valve.
Small brewery vs commercial? Small systems favor simple access and manual valves; larger plants justify PLC control, automated valve banks and larger glycol capacity.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
