Description
These 8,000 L and 10,000 L conical fermenters suit breweries that have outgrown 2,000–5,000 L unitanks but still want batch-by-batch control rather than one oversized horizontal tank. Standard cone angle is 60°; we build 70° when you ferment highly flocculant strains or dry hop heavily and want yeast to drop without being pushed by hand.
Shell and cone are formed from SUS304 plate — SUS316L if your wort is unusually acidic or you run sours in the same vessel — at 3 mm on the body and 4 mm on the cone and dished top for the 10,000 L size. Longitudinal seams are TIG welded, then pickled and passivated. Product-contact surfaces are ground and polished to Ra ≤ 0.6 µm. Exterior is satin-finished or insulated with 80–100 mm polyurethane and clad in 2B stainless.
Glycol jackets are dimple or laser-welded on the cone, plus one or two on the cylindrical shell depending on volume. A 10,000 L tank usually needs 3.5–4.5 m² of total cooling area to bring a lager from 12 °C to 2 °C inside 24 hours with 4 °C glycol supply. Jacket working pressure is 0.3 MPa; the inner vessel is rated 0.2 MPa working, 0.3 MPa tested, with a 0.2 MPa relief valve. Standard fittings: CIP spray ball, sample valve, racking arm, dry-hop port, and a 2 in. or 3 in. tri-clamp outlet on the cone.

Questions we get before quoting
Small brewpubs often pick a single 8,000 L tank with one shell jacket and accept slower crash cooling. Production breweries running 20+ brews a month usually want two jackets, a larger glycol chiller, and matching fermenters so CIP and transfer lines stay uniform. If you plan to carbonate in the tank, say so early — the relief valve setting and cone thickness change.
CIP works through the spray ball at 1.5–2 bar with a caustic cycle, acid rinse, and sanitizer; a dedicated CIP line on the racking arm speeds this up. Glycol connections are typically 1.5 in. or 2 in. tri-clamp with a DN25 solenoid and RTD probe wired to your control panel.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
