Description
Industrial Isobaric Fermentor for Brewery Production
Our isobaric fermentor is built for breweries that need controlled fermentation, natural carbonation, and stable pressure transfer. It works as a fermentation vessel and, in many cellars, as a bright beer tank before packaging. The vessel handles lagers, ales, and specialty beers where dissolved CO2 and oxygen pickup matter.
We fabricate from 304 or 316L stainless steel. Product contact surfaces are pickled and passivated, then polished to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm when required. Dimple or channel cooling jackets cover the cone and lower cylinder. Polyurethane insulation keeps cooling demand predictable. Sanitary welds are ground and inspected; ports use DIN, tri-clamp, or flange connections as specified.
The cone angle, jacket area, and pressure rating depend on batch size and beer style. A 45° cone helps yeast discharge. Working pressure typically 1.5–3.0 bar, with a safety valve and pressure gauge. CIP uses a rotating spray ball; racking arm, sample valve, dry-hop port, and carbonation stone are options.
Small brewpubs often use single-zone jackets and manual valves. Commercial plants move to dual-zone jackets, automated glycol control, and pressure-rated vessels for transfer under CO2. We match port orientation, leg height, and manway position to your room layout and piping route.

Common Questions
Can one tank ferment and carbonate? Yes, if the pressure rating, jacket area, and carbonation stone suit your process. Confirm target CO2 volumes before ordering.
Why choose 316L over 304? 316L helps with aggressive cleaning chemicals or high-chloride water. Most beer duty uses 304 with proper passivation.
How do I size the tank? Start with batch volume, headspace, expected yeast crop, and packaging schedule. A tank that is too large can slow cooling and waste glycol.
Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review
We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
