Description

What these tanks are built to do

Our turnkey brewery tanks cover 2,000 L to 10,000 L working volumes for brewhouse-to-fermenter projects. A 2,000 L unit suits a small taproom with limited floor space; 5,000 L is common for regional craft breweries running double batches; 10,000 L units fit larger cellars where tank height and floor loading are checked early. Each fermenter uses SUS304 as standard. For high-chloride cleaning or aggressive chemical exposure, 316L wetted parts are available. We confirm the duty before quoting because a tank sized on nominal volume alone often leaves too little headspace for krausen and dry hopping.

Fabrication details that affect service life

Shell and dish ends are formed from mill-certified plate. Longitudinal and circumferential welds are TIG welded, ground, and pickled/passivated on the product side. Interior surfaces are 2B finish with polished welds at sanitary joints. Dimple cooling jackets are sized to the tank surface, not just the volume, then insulated with PU and clad in stainless. Cone angles are selected for yeast discharge and dry-hopping practice—60° for many ales, 70° or steeper where solids are heavy. Each tank includes CIP spray ball, racking arm, sample valve, pressure/vacuum relief, safety valve, and tri-clamp fittings. We pressure-test before shipment and document CE compliance where required.

Applications

These vessels work in craft breweries, contract brewing cellars, beverage pilot plants, and kombucha or cider production. Cooling jacket layout matters most: 2,000 L tanks may need two zones for stable crashes; 10,000 L tanks typically use multiple zones and a larger glycol supply. Operators should plan CIP return routing and glycol header access before tanks arrive.

FAQ

How do I choose tank volume? Start with batch size, brewhouse cycles, and available height. Add 20–25% headspace.

Why control temperature? Fermentation heat changes ester and off-flavor profiles; jacket zoning keeps cone and shell stable.

Is SUS304 enough? Yes for most beer. Use 316L when chloride exposure is a real risk.

How does CIP work? Spray ball coverage, pump flow, and return path must match tank diameter. We layout ports during approval.

Tell us your batch size, beer type, number of fermentation tanks and available space. We can recommend the tank volume, cooling area and configuration for your brewery.

Customer Review

We have been using this still for a few batches now making whiskey, gin and a few other spirits and we are very happy with the results so far. The gear works well and gives good control during distillation. The spirit comes out clean and consistent from batch to batch and we have gotten the flavor profile we were looking for. It has also been easy to operate and maintain. It has been a great addition to our distillery and I’d definitely recommend it to other craft distillers looking for reliable equipment.”
