Description
We build this 500 L whisky distillation line around a simple batch rhythm: brew a 1200 L wort, ferment it, then run it through a 500 L pot still. The 1200 L bright tank gives you a place to rest, blend, or hold spirit before bottling. It suits small distilleries moving from 200–300 L pilot systems into steady weekly production, not a full industrial continuous plant.
Heating choice drives most layout decisions. Steam gives softer, more even heat and is common when you already have a boiler. Electric is simpler for remote sites or small floors, but confirm your power supply and kW load before quoting. Direct fire works, yet it needs more clearance and local code review.

Copper contact matters in the pot, neck, and condenser vapor path. Columns, gin baskets, agitators, and condenser styles are options—not afterthoughts. A gin basket changes cleaning and run planning. An agitator helps with certain mash bills but adds motor and seal maintenance.
Before we quote, send your spirit type, target ABV, batch size per week, steam pressure or electrical supply, floor space, ceiling height, and local vessel rules. Photos of the proposed room help. Shipping and rigging often surprise buyers more than the still itself. We can size the line to fit the building, not the other way around.
