Description
We build this 3000L combined brewery-distillery around two copper pot stills: a wash still and a spirit still, with automatic control of steam, cooling, and cuts. It fits a distillery already running two or three mashes per day and wanting whisky, rum, or botanical spirits without separate brewhouse and stillhouse equipment.
The 3000L is the wash still charge, not finished liters per day. With an 8–10% wash, you can expect different low wine yields depending on your beer and cut points. We usually pair a 3000L wash still with a 1500–2000L spirit still. We size from target proof gallons and run time, not just vessel volume.

Heating is the first decision. Steam jackets are standard at this scale. Electric works where no boiler exists, but a 3000L electric system needs serious power—often 480V, three-phase. Direct fire for 3000L? We rarely recommend it. Copper in the vapor path and neck helps sulfur removal; stainless is fine for wash lines and hot liquor tanks.
Options we handle often: gin basket, agitator, CIP, extra condenser, and proofing tanks. Installation matters as much as the still. Check ceiling height, floor drains, boiler placement, cooling water temperature, and electrical service. A 3000L system usually ships in a 40ft container, but layout and dismantling affect freight and rigging.
For an accurate quote, send your target spirits, batch size, heating method, available voltage or steam pressure, ceiling height, water temperature, and budget range. We will recommend wash and spirit still volumes, utility loads, and a layout. If you are comparing 200L, 500L, 1000L, and 3000L, remember the jump changes labor, permitting, and utilities—not just tank size.
